Delta Flight Attendant Zip Ties Hijacker – True Story

Delta Flight 386, which boarded on Friday, June 4, 2021, was highlighted in the news due to the unusual emergency landing. ‘Delta Flight Attendant Zip Ties Hijacker’ made headlines on all the news channels. It terrified the plane passengers and the people watching the updates of the incidents on their television sets alike. The flight bound for Nashville took off from the Los Angeles International Airport. Delta Flight 386 had 162 passengers, and there were six crew members or flight attendants.

Delta Flight Attendant Zip Ties Hijacker

An unidentified man ran to the cockpit door as the flight took off from the Los Angeles Airport. The man repeatedly banged the door and yelled, “Stop the plane.” The Delta Flight attendant Christopher Williams took action and restrained the alleged hijacker with zip ties. The passengers and flight attendant bound the hands and feet of the alleged hijacker with a yellow cord, as seen in the video footage shared by the fellow passenger. Williams is seen wrestling with the man in the cell phone footage surfacing on the internet. The man was then carried to the airplane’s rear area, where he was placed down in a seat.

The Delta Flight 386 video shot by passengers went viral on social media platforms such as Twitter. Twitter users got a newfound respect for flight attendants after this incident. Many fellow passengers have praised on social media the timely and swift action of the flight attendant Christopher Williams who saved the lives of all the passengers on board. There are many YouTube videos about Delta Flight attendant zip ties hijacker. Additionaly, a similar thread on Reddit became quite trending. Christopher Williams’ heroic actions have been widely applauded. 

The attempt to break into the cockpit created havoc. The flight 386 was diverted to Albuquerque where the alleged hijacker was deplaned. The flight landed at around 2:20 p.m., and airport police arrested the man. Another aircraft from Albuquerque to Nashville took all the passengers on board to their intended destination.
