The Malaysian airline incident or MH 370 disappearance, with 239 passengers on board, is similar to what happened to flight 828 on Manifest. This makes this show relatable. Jeff Rake’s Manifest season 1 premiered on September 24, 2018. The television series shown on Amazon Prime (season 1, 2 and 3) will now premiere season 4 exclusively on Netflix. After season 3, NCB axed the show but due to massive fan following Netflix is going to revive it. Due to the science fiction twist depicted in the series, flight 828 season 3 has created hype. Fans of the show are eagerly waiting for the story to unfold and find the answer to what happened to flight 828 in 2013.

The flight 828 cast portrays the life after the plane Montego Airflight 828 returns after five years of mysteriously vanishing. The Manifest’s plot shows that the aircraft took from Montego Bay, Jamaica, to New York. After the passengers felt turbulence that lasted a few minutes, the plane tragically vanished in thin air. All the passengers were believed to be dead. The number 828 refers to the angel number and is hence used in the series.

In September 2021, Manifest was the third show in Netflix history to be in its Top 10 for one hundred days. After online campaigns by fans such as #SaveManifest, Netflix decided to give the much-demanded closure to this famous supernatural series.

When is Manifest Season 4 going to air?

Good news for Manifesters! After weeks of back-and-forth between Warner Bros. TV and Netflix, in August of 2021, a big announcement was made for which the flight 828 fans were waiting. On 8/28 at 8.28 a.m., it was announced that the famous Flight 828 series would air Manifest season 4 exclusively on Netflix.

‘Manifest’, also known as the ‘Flight 828’ show, kicked off season 4 filming. The series will include 20 episodes that will likely be released in parts exclusively on Netflix. Manifest Season 4 is expected to arrive sometime in spring 2022. So Manifest is getting the finale it deserves.

Where to watch the Flight 828 show?

Netflix Internationally will stream Seasons 1,2, and 3 by the end of 2021. As of December 2021, in Canada and the US, Manifest Seasons 1, 2, and 3 will still be available only on Netflix.

Flight 828- is it a true story?

Inspired by the actual incident of the disappearance of the passengers on Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 in March of 2014, NCB’s Manifest is not a true story. The plot of the series starts with the real-life airline mishap. The show later features supernatural elements which make the series exciting. But clearly states that it is not a true story.

Since a large part of the earth is covered by water, most aircraft accidents involve water bodies. This makes it even more challenging to figure out the exact reason for the airline accidents. Such aircraft accidents often makes it a mystery. One of the airlines that disappeared without a trace and whose mystery is still unsolved is the Malaysia Airlines flight 370.

So, what exactly happened to Malaysia Airlines flight 370, or MH370 ?

As its remains have still not been recovered, there are many speculations about the disappearance of Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 . Let us explore some of the theories associated with it 

Few studies claim that crash investigator Peter McMahon found the wreckage of the airplane in Google Earth images. He characterized the airplane as riddled with bullet holes. Another theory by pilot Chris Goodfellow suggests that the pilot turned the aircraft to the west due to fire in the cockpit. The loss of communication due to electrical fire and smoke in the cockpit could have succumbed the pilots to death. This may have lead to an air crash. A story suggested by the Week magazines claims the probability of cracks in the plane. The cracks which were reported in Boeing 777s by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), just two days before MH370 disappeared. Whereas, Historian Norman Davies suggests a theory that Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 was cyber-hijacked. 

As the MH370 aircraft has still not been found, no theory has been proved to this day. Search teams are still massively searching thousands of kilometers of the Indian Ocean. This could reveal some information about disappearance of Malaysian Airlines flight 370 that led to the loss of 239 lives. Such incidents where the plane vanished from radar are unusual in the age of modern technologies. The families of those on board have not got a degree of closure over their missing loved ones, even after several years. 

Many such aviation conspiracies are unlikely to be explained fully. Or even to the extent that we would find difficult to accept.

• The reason for the disappearance of MH370 is still unclear.
• The exact location of the presumed plane crash has not been identified.
• Investigation experts have tried to know about the missing passengers and did a thorough background check.
• According to the air traffic control, no problems were recorded when the Malaysian Airline flight 370 took off.
• The last communication with the cockpit was 54 minutes after the plane successfully took off from the airport. No distress signal was reported from the airplane.
• Military radar detected unnecessary turns by the aircraft and headed towards the southwest.
• As per the military, the plane’s last recorded location was about 1 hour and 40 minutes into the flight.
• The fishermen and locals reported several sightings of a plane going down in the Indian Ocean.
• The first piece of MH370 debris was found on a small island called Reunion Island.
• In January 2018, a fresh investigation was started.
• A search ship vanished without any known reasons in late January 2018, which further fueled the conspiracy of missing aircraft. 
• As the mystery is still unsolved, family members have protested against a memorial by the Australian government.
